Australia rout West Indies by 277 runs, win Frank Worrell Trophy 7 times in a row

Kingston, June 15: Australia routed West Indies by 277 runs inside four days in the second Test at Sabina Park to win the Frank Worrell Trophy 2-0. The Aussies have now bagged the Frank Worrell Trophy in nine out of the last 10 series. The remaining one was drawn 2-2 in 1998.

Chasing 392 to level the series, the hosts started the day with 8 wickets in hand but went on to lose 5 wickets for just 56 runs in the first session, turning the match into a a no show. They were dismissed for 114 shortly after lunch with all five Australian bowlers grabbing a scalp.

Mitchell Starc took 3 wickets for 34 while Josh Hazlewood, Nathan Lyon and Mitchell Johnson took 2 wickets apiece.

The hosts declared their second innings at 212 for 2 and set a target of 392 for the Caribbeans.

Australia's Steven Smith, who scored 199 in Australia's first innings, was adjudged the man of the match.
