Aussies will bounce back: Warne

Melbourne, Oct 27 (UNI) Legendary spinner Shane Warne today said wounded Australia will bounce back in the Test series in India, and there's no need for him to come out of retirement.

Warne said he was confident that Ponting's side will make amends for their 320-run defeat in the second Test at Mohali to salvage pride in the four-Test Border-Gavaskar Trophy series.

''I think Australia will bounce back, I think that really hurt them, that last Test match, and I'm sure they'll fight back in the Aussie way,'' Warne, who played his last Test in January 2007, was quoted as saying by the 'APP'.

Warne said the turn around was possible if senior players like Ponting, Michael Clarke and Matthew Hayden would start getting more runs.

''Hopefully they win the toss and put some big runs on the board.

I think it's been a fantastic series so far and I'm sure the Aussies will fight back,'' he said.

''But as far as I'm concerned, am very happily retired,'' he added.

The third Test starts in Delhi on October 29.
