Adding to the accolades, Perry also surpassed Meg Lanning’s record for the most sixes by an Australian in women’s ODIs, hitting 42 maximums. Beyond personal records, Perry’s contributions significantly shaped Australia’s dominance in the match and the series.

Australia Women tightened their grip on the ODI series with a resounding display at Allan Border Field, powered by Ellyse Perry and Georgia Voll. After opting to bat, the hosts put up a commanding 371 for 8, their third-highest ODI total, leaving India Women with a daunting chase.
Perry's blistering 105 off 75 balls stole the headlines, but it was Voll's maiden century, an 87-ball 101, that set the tone for Australia's dominance.
Voll, opening in place of injured captain Alyssa Healy, showcased her rising star power with an aggressive innings laced with 12 boundaries. She forged a 130-run opening stand with Phoebe Litchfield, who contributed a solid 60 off 63 balls.
Later, Beth Mooney’s brisk 56 ensured the momentum never faltered, keeping India under relentless pressure.
The Indian bowling attack, led by debutant Harshita Thakor (3-62), struggled in the sweltering Brisbane heat. With Perry and Voll firing in tandem, Australia moved closer to clinching the series, having already secured a five-wicket win in the opening ODI.
