Arindam Ghosh comes in for Bengal in Ranji fixture against Tripura

Kolkata, Nov 28 (UNI) Arindam Ghosh was called in to replace Sreevats Goswami for Ranji Trophy's Plate Division four-day match against Tripura at Eden Gardens beginning from tomorrow.

His entry was the only change in the 14-member squad that defeated Services last week at home comfortably.

Ghosh was dropped in first two matches against Madhya Pradesh and Services. Goswami had made only 16 runs in Bengal's total 442/6 declared, in the last match.

Also notable was the absence of medium pacer Shib Shankar Paul, who was not named in the previous games due to calf injury.

Bengal selection committee chairman Sambaran Banerjee, citing report from the physio, said Paul would not play due to foot injury.
