Andhra Ranji Coach scores first in NCA Coaches Exam
Vijayawada, June 8 (UNI) Andhra Ranji Cricket Team Coach and former Ranji player N Madhukar secured 72 per cent marks and stood first along with another former Ranji player N Shyamsundar of Visakhapatnam in the National Cricket Academy (NCA) Level-1 Coaches Course Examination conduced by NCA at Visakhapatnam.
Of the 34 candidates appeared for the examination held last month, 29 were declared passed by the NCA, Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) General Secretary N Venkata Rao said in a release here today.
Former Ranji players T Pavan Kumar, V Vijayasaradhi, D Oscar Vinod Kumar (all from Andhra), Vidyuth Jaisimha (Hyderabad) were among the successful candidates. Twenty other candidates also passed the examination.
Among the women coaches, who appeared for the examination, Ms Kiranmai (Visakhapatnam) stood first with 71 per cent followed by former Indian Captain Ms Purnimarau (Hyderabad) with 68 per cent and S Latha Devi of Kurnool with 60 per cent, the release added.
