Aiyar congratulates Indian cricket team

New Delhi, Mar 4 (UNI) Union Sports Minister Mani Shankar Aiyar today congratulated the Indian cricket team on winning the Commonwealth Bank Series for their "magnificent" performance.

"The dedication and spirit with which the series has been played is brilliant," the minister said in his message.

Mr Aiyar said this has been a fantastic cricket season for India with the junior cricket team also picking up the under-19 World Cup.

He hoped that this win would serve as a motivation and inspiration for other sports as well.
