Actor dropped as brand ambassador for IPL team

Chennai, Apri 25 (UNI) The Chennai Super Kings, a franchisee of India Cements, has dropped popular actresss Nayanthara as its Brand Ambassador as she was not able to meet the commitments of regular match appearances.

A release here today said the team had decided to go with a single star Ambassador, Actor Vijay.

Henceforth, the Chennai Super Kings would use actor Vijay for all ground promotions and match appearances.

After the huge support and response of the crowd for Vijay during the inaugural match at Chepauk, the Chennai Super Kings Team Management has decided to go with him for all such occasions in the future.
