UP Badminton Asso announces squad for National Games

Lucknow, Feb 5 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Badminton Association (UPBA) today announced a seven-member team to represent the state at the 33rd National Games starting from February nine at Guwahati, Assam.

UPBA honorary secretary Vijai Sinha said here today the team would be led by Ravinder Singh of Varanasi.

Besides Ravinder Singh, the team comprises Utsav Mishra, Abhishek Agarwal, Prashant Kumar, Anurag Sharma, D B Thapa and T S Bisht.

Krishna Gopal and Anil Dhyani have been appointed coach and manager of the UP squad respectively.

The team leaves for Guwahati on February 10, Dr Sinha informed.
