Saina Nehwal down with chicken pox

New Delhi, July 30 (ANI): Ace Indian shuttler Saina Nehwal is down with chicken pox.

According to a private news channel, her coach, Pullela Gopichand, confirmed the news of Sania's illness.

The 20-year-old Sania has been down with chicken pox since Sunday.

Sania's father Harvir Nehwal said he was confident that she would recover before the World Badminton Championships. The Championships will be held in Hyderabad in August.

Sania won her first super series event in Indonesia on June 21. She became the first Indian woman to reach the Olympic singles quarter-finals in Beijing last year. (ANI)
