German Open 2023: Indian Shuttlers in Action, Schedule, Results, Telecast and Live Streaming Info
Indian shuttlers will return to action as BWF World Tour resumes this week in the form of the European Leg, starting with the German Open 2023, which is scheduled to take place at the Westenergie Sporthalle in Mulheim, Germany.
The German Open 2023, officially known as Yonnex German Open 2023, will be the fifth event of the 2023 BWF World Tour and the 64th edition of the tournament overall.
The event will start with the qualifying and first round matches on March 7 followed by second round, quarterfinals, semifinal on subsequent days, and the tournament will conclude with the finals on Sunday (March 12).
A total of 80 singles players and 103 doubles teams from across the globe, including Lee Zii Jia, Kunlavut Vitidsarn, Carolina Marin and Ratchanok Itanon will be among the players in action in Mulheim.
While the top Indian shuttlers give the event a miss, as many as 5 singles players, including Lakshya Sen, Mithun Manjunath and Malvika Bansod, and 1 doubles team, Ashwini Ponnappa-B Sumeet Reddy, will represent the country at the German Open 2023.
