Ball Badminton Championship from Nov 28

Visakhapatnam, Nov 24 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Ball Badminton Association General Secretary R Venkata Rao today said the 22nd State Inter District Ball Badminton Championship will be held here from November 28 to 30.

Talking to newspersons here, he said in the Under-19 Junior Boys and Girls, 26 teams from 13 districts would participate.

The winners would qualify for the national championship to be held in Chandigarh from December 23 to 26, he added.

More than 350 players and officials would participate in the meet, he said, adding that the first Arjuna awardee in Ball Badminton Pitchaiah from Warangal would be facilitated during the competition.
