All England Open 2024: Indian Schedule, Results, Telecast & Live Streaming Info

Top Indian shuttlers will continue their action on the European leg of 2024 BWF World Tour this week in the 116th edition of All England Open Badminton Championships at the Arena Birmingham in Birmingham.

The BWF Super 1000 tournament will start with the first round matches on Tuesday (March 12) and Wednesday (March 13) followed by the second round, quarter-final and semi-final on the subsequent days before the all important final on Sunday (March 17).

The Yonex All England Open 2024 will feature a total of 64 singles competitors and 96 teams including world champions and Olympic champions. So far only two Indians have won the All England Open since it started in 1899.

Only Pullela Gopichand (2001) and Prakash Padukone (1980) have won the title at the All England Open so far with both the greats of the Indian badminton winning the men's singles competition.

This year's Indian contingent of 6 singles and 4 doubles teams including the in-form pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty will look to add to the tally following their French Open title win on Sunday (March 10)

PV Sindhu, Aakarshi Kashyap, Priyanshu Rajawat, HS Prannoy, Lakshya Sen and Kidambi Srikanth will be the 6 Indians in singles competition, while doubles teams will feature, Satwik-Chirag, Tanish Crasto- Ashwini Ponnappa, Panda sisters and Treesa Jolly-Gayathri Gopichand.

Satwik-Chirag pair and Prannoy are the only Indians to be seeded at the All England Open Badminton Championships 2024, where the likes of Viktor Axelsen, Akane Yamaguchi, Tai Tzu Ting will be among many other stars from across the globe to participate in the tournament..
